Goldfields Tee Ball Association AGM
For those of you interested in the GTBA committee but not quite sure what's involved, listed below are the positions and a brief description of what is required. The Management committee are the most important positions and need to be filled in order for tball to go ahead. These positions are:
President - chairs meetings and is the general "go to person"
Vice President - fills in for president when needed
Treasurer - handles all financials including banking, paying bills and presenting reports
Secretary - takes minutes of meetings and handles all correspondence
Registrar - takes all registrations, keeps track of players eligibility and prepares ladders and fixtures
Chief Umpire - must be at least lvl 2 accredited umpire and resolves all queries on rules
Once these positions are filled then there are some other committee roles that can be filled, like:
States Co-ordinator - organises and oversees all states involved activities
Canteen manager - runs canteen
Line marker - marks all diamonds on a regular basis
Property manager - stocks and maintains all the kit bags for games
Media officer - promotes the sport through local media outlets by providing write ups and ladders etc
Baseball also requires a sub committee of:

Secretary
Registrar
